Horsham may be the most isolated greyhound track in Victoria, but it is also a favourite of many, as evidenced by the club hosting eight outstanding heats of the Group 2 Horsham Cup (480m) on Tuesday night.
Sunday’s final promises to be a beauty, with Group 1 superstars Allen Deed and Dyna Villa to have their work cut out against a number of classy up-and-comers.
Buzz youngster Shared Equity, who turns heads with a sensational recent Warrnambool Classic campaign, has made the final along with litter brother Shared Bonus, who has drawn the coveted Box 1 in the $45,000 to-the-winner final.
The fastest time of the night belonged to Big Ticket (26.968sec), with Ultima Bale the only other greyhound to break the magical 27 second barrier.
