Geyhound Trials are conducted by the Horsham Greyhound Club twice per week.
After the race meeting and Saturday mornings.
Trials are run over all 3 distances, 410m, 480m and 570m.
We conduct 2 types of trials:
Pen - A 'Pen' trial is where the trial is run into the Catching Pen.
Arm - An 'Arm' trial is where the trial is run onto the lure (Only available Saturday trials).
October - March
Pen Trials first followed by Arm Trials
Tickets on sale 7:30am. Trials commence 8:00am.
April - September
Pen trials first followed by Arm Trials
Tickets on sale 8:30am. Trials commence 9:00am
Order of Trials
Race Night
570m trials first followed by 410m/480m (As a general rule if Race 10 is a 410m race the order will be 570/410/480 or if Race 10 is 480m the order will be 570/480/410. Handslips over the 480m will be done in between the 410m & 480m trials. This is subject to any satisfactory trials. The Club will advise triners of any changes.

Saturday Morning (October – March)
- Tickets will be on sale from 7:30am.
- Trials will commence at 8:00am.
- Pen trials will be conducted first followed by Arm trials.

- Tickets will be on sale from 8:30am.
- Trials will commence at 9:00am.
- Pen trials will be conducted first followed by Arm trials.
